Just like all cars the VW Transporter T4 has it’s own set of common problems – one of which is how the front grille is attached to the body.
It’s a common problem amongst VW T4 owners that the clips that hold the grille assembly on, fail over time and allow the front grille to come loose and flap about – sometimes even fall off.
After trying to replace the plastic clips, which did not solve the issue we had with the grille coming loose, I had to find another fix – and I came up with a novel solution to the problem with some trial and error.
Importantly the fix works and looks pretty good on the van too!
