Our VW Transporter T4 LWB High Roof boasts large barn doors at the rear, providing convenient access and allowing for standing height entry into the van. Additionally, the barn doors offer stunning views out of the back of the van, a feature we have taken advantage of on many occasions.
Since the long wheel base factory high roof version is a rare find, there are limited aftermarket accessories available for purchase, such as barn door awnings. While there are plenty of options for other van makes, as well as Transporters with tailgates, finding an awning or sun canopy that fits properly over the T4 high roof’s tall barn doors is a challenge.
